Quality Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive quality control audits of utility structures after inspection and restoration activities.

• Confirm that all field operations are executed in accordance with established specifications and procedures.

• Examine and evaluate job documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to contractual and company standards.

• Collaborate closely with field operations to guarantee that inspection and testing activities align with Osmose Quality Standards, Customer Quality Plans, contractual obligations, industry norms, and client expectations.

• Recognize potential areas for quality enhancement.

• Travel within the country, typically requiring 1–4 nights away from home Monday through Friday, with occasional extended trips lasting up to 10 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must be residents of the Northeastern United States.

• Background in utility operations, construction, or a related domain is required.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.

• Capacity to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.

• A valid driver's license is necessary.

• Completion of the QC Auditor Training Program or at least one year of prior QC experience is essential.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently.

• Capability to occasionally bend, crouch, kneel, squat, stoop, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and work with or around chemicals.

• Willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, heat and humidity, freezing temperatures, and uneven terrain.

• Ability to work around preservatives, coatings, chemical substances, concrete, energized electrical conductors, and equipment.

• Relevant certifications are preferred.

• Prior experience with the inspection or maintenance of utility structures is preferred.
