This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Develop, interpret, and comprehend Weld Map Isometric drawings using various computer software applications.
• Input welding and inspection data into the tracking system.
• Support the planning and execution of pressure testing activities.
• Compile project documentation packages.
• Conduct and record inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Evaluate welders and execute weld inspections according to different codes.
• Adhere to Project Quality Assurance Plans.
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans (I&T Plans).
• Assist the Site Quality Manager with daily tasks as assigned.
• Uphold Mullins' core values and safety regulations.
• Engage in projects related to HVAC systems, plumbing, process piping, boilers, chillers, equipment installation, rigging, plant relocation and maintenance, fire protection, and metal fabrication.
• Familiarity and experience working within a Quality Management Program.
• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Quality Inspector and/or Quality Technician.
• Must possess a current AWS CWI, ASNT VT II, and/or API 510/570 certification.
• In-depth knowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT).
• Understanding of ASTM standards and materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and construction project management software; Procore experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of organizational abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings.
• Quick learner, self-motivated, and eager to advance professionally.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as necessary.
• Experience adhering to customer specifications.
• Background in verifying mechanical equipment alignment.
• Extensive familiarity with ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, and NACE codes and standards.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to climb stairs and ladders while working on scaffolds and in trenches.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and traverse uneven terrain for extended durations.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurability, and ability to pass an MVR background check.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, around loud noises and unusual odors, in confined spaces, and beneath overhead activities.
