Quality Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assigned to a Scrum team, responsible for defining and implementing the test strategy.

• Ensures quality outcomes within the Scrum team by proactively identifying risks.

• Influences design choices and guarantees the testability and scalability of solutions.

• Directs the automation strategy within the team.

• Provides mentorship to engineers on automation methodologies and test strategies.

• Contributes to and advocates for best practices in testing and quality engineering across various teams.

• Engages in cross-team initiatives that affect quality strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality engineering.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Over 6 years of hands-on experience in designing automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.

• Extensive expertise in automation development using JavaScript, Python, or C#.

• Strong proficiency with development tools and integrated development environments (IDEs) such as VS Code, Eclipse, etc.

• Expert-level experience in incorporating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of API automation, service virtualization, and test data management.

• Demonstrated ability to lead decisions regarding automation architecture.

• Robust understanding of the underlying technologies that support applications.
