This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Develop, implement, and sustain automated UI and end-to-end testing suites utilizing Playwright / TypeScript, ensuring coverage of essential user workflows in React and Angular front-end applications.
• Create automated API tests for C# / ASP.NET Core REST endpoints using TypeScript HTTP client libraries or C# / xUnit / NUnit test projects; verifying request contracts, response schemas, business logic, and error management.
• Construct and uphold integration tests that confirm service-to-service communications and data flows throughout the application stack, including SQL Server / Azure SQL data validation.
• Contribute to the squad’s automated testing data strategy: design repeatable, isolated data setup and teardown processes that facilitate dependable parallel test execution.
• Utilize AI-driven tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) with structured prompts to expedite test scaffolding and generation across API, UI, and integration levels.
• Thoroughly assess all AI-generated tests prior to approval—ensuring coverage completeness, assertion quality, and elimination of false confidence.
• Operate within Libra’s agentic engineering framework: AI agents enhance code generation at scale; Quality Engineers (QEs) are responsible for the quality assessments that dictate what is deployed.
• Contribute to Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that automated suites function as essential quality gates for every build, providing actionable pass/fail signals.
• Identify, document, and monitor bugs/defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps and test evidence; collaborate with engineers to facilitate timely resolutions.
• Engage in sprint ceremonies and aid in test planning, risk evaluation, and defining acceptance criteria alongside the Technical Product Owner.
• Collaborate with offshore QE engineers within the squad to clearly define test cases, provide review feedback, and uphold shared quality standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 2 years of practical test automation experience in developing code-based test suites.
• Expertise in Playwright and TypeScript for UI and end-to-end test automation.
• Experience in writing automated API tests in code (TypeScript HTTP clients, C# / xUnit / NUnit, or equivalent), rather than solely performing exploratory API testing through Postman.
• Familiarity with C# / .NET applications as the system under test; capable of reading C# code to comprehend expected behavior.
• Knowledge of SQL Server or Azure SQL for data validation in automated tests.
• Experience in integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines as quality gates.
• Practical experience with AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) for test scaffolding, test data creation, and defect analysis.
• Understanding of the QE role in an agentic delivery model: able to adjust test strategy and coverage in environments where AI agents significantly contribute to code generation, with an increased focus on validation depth, assertion quality, and critical assessment of AI-generated test outcomes.
• Strong creative problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Self-motivated, ownership-driven, and technically meticulous; prioritizes test reliability as a fundamental concern.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
• Libra Solutions provides competitive salary and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, along with a 401k match and paid time off.
