This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Conduct regularly scheduled audits within the plant as requested by the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Execute on-site audits as per the directives of the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Carry out product sampling upon request from the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Continuously oversee the client’s adherence to the approved quality systems.
• Regularly assess and report the condition of each client’s quality system to the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Submit all inspection reports to the Regional Inspection Manager for review by the end of each month.
• Cultivate strong relationships with States and HUD to ensure our reputation as a leader and partner is upheld.
• Ensure that all relevant ICC NTA procedures are consistently applied during the inspection processes.
• Actively identify, suggest, and pursue opportunities for process enhancements within the Department and ICC NTA.
• Foster effective communication throughout the organization.
• Spot opportunities and propose actions that will improve communication among all staff members.
• Provide ongoing insights and solutions for addressing recurring issues as they emerge in the field by establishing and maintaining a reliable communication channel with Inspection Managers.
• Execute additional duties, responsibilities, and special assignments as instructed by the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Must successfully pass ICC Residential examinations in Building, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing within 12 months of employment.
• Completion of CEU training is required to maintain licenses and certifications.
• Capability to travel to client facilities or worksites via air travel or by driving a vehicle.
• High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in building construction, building code enforcement, or quality assurance audits.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
• Some overnight travel will be necessary.
