This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop, implement, and sustain quality assurance procedures for transportation and logistics operations.
• Monitor adherence to industry standards and customer specifications.
• Coordinate and oversee both internal and external audits.
• Create and execute corrective measures to resolve non-conformities.
• Review and authorize quality-related documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Analyze data and implement enhancements to processes and procedures.
• Provide training to employees on quality assurance procedures and standards.
• Engage with customers and regulatory agencies as needed to ensure compliance.
• Develop and oversee quality metrics and key performance indicators.
• Conduct internal audits.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, logistics, engineering, or quality management is generally required.
• A Master’s degree may be preferred.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance within the transportation and logistics sector is typically required.
• Experience in managing audits and executing corrective actions is preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards concerning transportation and logistics.
