Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and automated testing procedures.

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.

• Detect, document, and monitor application issues and discrepancies.

• Work collaboratively with development teams, product managers, designers, stakeholders, offshore colleagues, and contractors.

• Engage in agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and increment planning.

• Evaluate and suggest enhancements to the QA framework.

• Initially concentrate on manual testing while progressively developing and integrating automation frameworks.

• Occasionally travel for in-person meetings, company retreats, training sessions, and other work-related events.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle within an agile/scrum setting.

• In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience in establishing manual, automation, and regression test scenarios.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Keen attention to detail and a dedication to quality.

• Proficient knowledge of SQL and scripting.

• Willingness to travel as required; travel is a condition of employment.

• Preferred: familiarity with programming languages such as TypeScript.

• Preferred: experience with test automation frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
