QA/SDET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• We are looking for a skilled QA Automation/Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our technology team.

• The main focus will be on payroll system integrations.

• Enhance software quality through effective coding practices.

• Accountable for testing integrations with external partners.

• Create thorough integration tests and develop mock services for APIs.

• Work closely with the tech lead and product managers to establish acceptance criteria and execute new test scenarios within a Docker and Jenkins-based quality assurance framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Python: Extensive coding experience is a fundamental requirement.

• API Testing: Demonstrated experience in testing APIs and creating integration tests with external/third-party systems.

• Mocking: Practical experience in developing and managing mock services for APIs.

• Test Automation: Capability to write automated tests based on acceptance criteria.

• Experience Level: A minimum of 5 years in software testing within an automated environment.

• Tools & Infrastructure: Familiarity with ticketing and Continuous Integration (CI) systems.

• Understanding of build automation, application deployment, and CI pipelines (Docker, Jenkins).

• Proficiency with SQL databases and advanced RESTful APIs.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
