
QA/QC Inspection Specialist, Energy Efficiency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Perform QA/QC evaluations in residential properties in line with program guidelines.
• Conduct thorough and precise field inspections to verify quantities and technologies against utility rebate applications.
• Engage with contractors and homeowners, respond to inquiries regarding energy efficiency, and pinpoint additional energy-saving prospects.
• Play a role in the evolution of program strategy and the development of program features and services.
• Assist in marketing and outreach initiatives for the program.
• Organize or schedule QA/QC tasks, including field inspections.
• Compile summary reports highlighting additional opportunities identified during QC visits.
• Bachelor's Degree in business, energy, communication, or a related field.
• Candidates may substitute one year of experience for each year of education.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with residential construction is preferred.
• Must possess a clear and clean driving record.
• Required to pass drug tests and background checks.
• A reliable vehicle is necessary for local travel.
• Basic mechanical skills are required.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing no more than 30 pounds.
• Capability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to drive, walk, stand, and perform overhead arm movements.
• Experience with MHIC licensed companies is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Preferred ability to advocate for energy-efficiency practices within the residential sector.
• Experience conducting residential inspections is desirable.
• Familiarity with energy-efficiency technologies and practices is highly advantageous.
• Experience in implementing successful energy-efficiency programs is sought after.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Customer service and/or sales conversion experience is preferred.
