This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead, oversee, and mentor the designated Quality Assurance team members, including establishing objectives, developing procedures, and ensuring timely and accurate task completion.

• Design and execute extensive testing strategies for data and reporting systems, guaranteeing thorough coverage and the identification of potential issues.

• Collaborate with the automation team to create test scripts and maintain data quality as it transitions through the system.

• Work in partnership with the development team, data engineers, and business analysts to comprehend requirements and convert them into test plans that enhance quality.

• Conduct detailed evaluations of data and reporting processes, test plans, test results, and delivery plans to identify potential challenges and risks, effectively communicating these to leadership.

• Develop and sustain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data and reporting systems.

• Provide consistent updates on the status of testing and quality metrics to stakeholders.

• Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on reports and data pipelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in QA and testing, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

• At least 5 years of experience in testing data, reporting systems, ETL processes, and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.

• Strong expertise in Tableau and/or Power BI report validation, covering dashboard logic, data source connections, and calculated fields.

• Extensive experience with Snowflake and the ability to write complex queries for test scripting.

• Preferred experience with Python for test scripting, data validation automation, and pipeline reconciliation.

• Significant experience with Azure Data Factory Pipelines and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).

• Proficient in using REST API testing tools such as Postman.

• Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps for source control and integrated test execution within pipelines.

• Experience in testing data models, data integrity, normalization rules, and testing scripts for data extraction, loading, and transformation.

• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements related to testing and managing patient-related data.

• Experience with data quality frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations, dbt tests) is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong grasp of software development lifecycles and methodologies.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience in agile testing.
