QA Engineer – Checkout

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Enhance and sustain the Cypress test suite.

• Integrate testing processes into our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Evaluate and modify tests in response to new features, bug reports, and production challenges.

• Conduct manual testing as necessary, particularly for new features and bug fix verifications. Based on findings, you’ll refine or develop automated tests.

• Critically assess features by identifying inconsistencies, voicing concerns, and suggesting enhancements.

• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure the reliability of tests.

• Advocate for quality and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of programming basics, preferably in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Proficiency in using Cypress.

• Familiarity with contemporary frontend frameworks, specifically Svelte.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools, ideally GitHub Actions.

• Comfortable navigating and reading through codebases.

• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on product quality.

• A proactive communicator who engages with questions and challenges assumptions.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
