QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct test campaigns prior to each release (RC, hotfix), performing smoke and regression testing on real devices and simulators (iOS & Android), across various OS versions and configurations.

• Confirm fixes prior to merging and before submission to the store, aiding in go/no-go release decisions by providing a documented quality perspective.

• Manage bug investigations from start to finish: reproduce, isolate, and document issues with detailed steps, expected versus actual behavior, environment, logs, and versions.

• Contribute to enhancements in quality practices.

• Engage in agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, demos): question acceptance criteria and foresee edge cases.

• Highlight quality trends and identify areas of vulnerability.

• Proficient in test automation: creating test scripts, CI integration, and utilizing iOS/Android tools.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in mobile automation, preferably in a high-volume consumer application.

• Practical experience with iOS and/or Android: performing manual testing on real devices as well as emulators/simulators.

• Strong understanding of various testing types: functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.

• Capability to write actionable bug reports and develop clear, usable test plans.

• Experience in an agile work environment.

• Native or bilingual proficiency in both French and English.
