QA Automation Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Engaging in the design and assessment of software quality solutions for complex projects.

• Contributing to testing strategies and participating in quality-related decision-making within a collaborative environment that emphasizes co-creation.

• Involved in reviewing, supporting, and ensuring the quality of the projects your colleagues are engaged in.

• Playing a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of testing best practices, including the creation of clean, maintainable, and reusable automated tests.

• Staying informed about the latest tools and technologies available in the market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in software testing, encompassing both manual and automated testing (minimum 2 years of professional experience).

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Proficiency in exploratory testing.

• Experience in smoke, sanity, and regression testing.

• Competence in UI testing for both web and mobile platforms.

• Familiarity with API test automation using Postman (considered a significant asset).

• Experience in UI test automation (Python / Selenium / Pytest, etc.).

• Comfortable working in AGILE environments and utilizing tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, with a strong preference for Python.

• Knowledge of QA methodologies and concepts including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, etc.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• A strong desire to learn and an ability to adapt quickly.

• A solid team player mindset.
