QA Automation Engineer – Cross-border Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• You will assist in guaranteeing quality and reliability in cross-border payment systems by developing automated coverage for essential financial workflows and integrations.

• Create, manage, and execute test cases for cross-border payment services and their integrations.

• Develop, sustain, and enhance automated test coverage for vital business scenarios.

• Validate APIs, backend services, and end-to-end transaction flows.

• Analyze testing outcomes, investigate defects, and effectively communicate findings to the team.

• Contribute to the testing strategy, automation methodologies, and quality assurance practices.

• Collaborate closely with Developers and DevOps teams to enhance testing tools, environments, and overall delivery quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in QA Automation or a related position.

• Proficiency in API manual and automated testing using Java or Kotlin.

• Experience in building and maintaining automated test suites.

• Background in testing applications for financial institutions, including investment banks, brokers, exchanges, or other financial platforms.

• Ability to articulate complex defects, issues, and edge cases clearly and succinctly.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Preferred: Experience in testing payment processing systems or money transfer products.

• Preferred: Experience with distributed systems and service integrations.

• Preferred: Understanding of financial transaction lifecycles and settlement processes.
