QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Designing, constructing, and maintaining robust end-to-end and API automated testing frameworks utilizing Playwright and TypeScript.

• Utilizing AI technologies and coding tools to expedite test development, enhance code quality, and analyze logs of test failures.

• Seamlessly integrating automated regression test suites into our CI/CD pipelines to facilitate swift and continuous delivery of high-quality software.

• Developing automated solutions for responsive web applications across both desktop and contemporary mobile platforms.

• Collaborating within an Agile setting to establish automation strategies for new features in conjunction with developers and product managers.

• Continuously assessing and adopting innovative automation and AI-driven testing methodologies to maintain our technology stack at the forefront.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated, extensive experience in crafting scalable automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript or comparable technologies.

• High level of proficiency in modern TypeScript/JavaScript and principles of Object-Oriented or functional programming.

• Familiarity with Native App Automation (using tools such as Appium).

• Hands-on experience incorporating AI into automation workflows to enhance efficiency and reliability of tests.

• Comprehensive understanding of API testing and methods to automate API layers (utilizing Playwright's integrated API testing features or tools like Postman).

• Significant experience working within an Agile framework and managing tasks via Jira or equivalent tools.

• Strong knowledge of front-end web technologies (experience in testing Angular, React, or similar modern frameworks is highly advantageous).

• Experience in testing intricate, highly dynamic websites on both desktop and mobile interfaces.
