QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain comprehensive automated test suites utilizing Playwright and associated frameworks.

• Work alongside developers, product managers, and designers to establish clear and testable requirements.

• Conduct manual testing to uncover UI inconsistencies, usability challenges, and edge cases that automation may overlook.

• Configure test environments, execute regression suites, and ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.

• Incorporate automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate rapid feedback loops.

• Produce detailed bug reports that include reproduction steps, screenshots, and logs.

• Oversee and maintain test stability, swiftly identifying flaky or unreliable tests.

• Guide team members on best practices in QA automation.

• Persistently enhance our QA processes, tools, and test coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in QA automation, with a demonstrated record in end-to-end testing using the Playwright framework.

• Capable of managing both manual and automated testing responsibilities effectively.

• Keen attention to UI/UX details, with the ability to identify issues that others may overlook.

• Proactive approach and ownership of quality assurance throughout all development phases.

• Experience in testing React and Node.js applications.

• Competent in independently designing test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, and contemporary development environments.

• Background in fintech or regulated sectors is advantageous.
