QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain automated testing frameworks.

• Conduct functional and regression testing.

• Enhance QA processes and standards.

• Mentor and guide junior QA team members.

• Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.

• Design, create, and uphold automated test scripts for browser-based applications.

• Establish scalable regression testing processes.

• Enhance test coverage and testing efficiency.

• Contribute to advancements in the automation framework.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user workflow testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects clearly.

• Validate bug fixes and product enhancements.

• Ensure high-quality releases across various MedNext products.

• Conduct API testing and validation.

• Verify integrations between system components.

• Assist with database validation and data integrity checks.

• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and DevOps teams.

• Engage in sprint planning, feature reviews, and release activities.

• Contribute to the improvement of QA standards, documentation, and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in testing web applications.

• Proficiency with automation testing tools and frameworks.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman.

• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in QA.

• Essential experience in automation testing.

• Advantageous experience in mentoring or guiding junior QA team members.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• High attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
