QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold robust test automation frameworks utilizing Python.

• Construct and execute automated test suites employing Selenium WebDriver for web applications.

• Implement and sustain test frameworks adhering to best practices, such as Page Object Model (POM), using PyTest and/or unitTest.

• Create and execute API automation tests to verify backend services and integrations.

• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and/or Azure Pipelines.

• Oversee test execution, defect management, and reporting within Azure DevOps (ADO).

• Develop, maintain, and monitor test cases using Xray for test management.

• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is built into every stage of the SDLC.

• Conduct code reviews for automation scripts to ensure the maintainability and scalability of test assets.

• Analyze test results, determine root causes, and proactively identify quality risks.

• Continuously enhance automation coverage, execution speed, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in QA Automation for web and enterprise applications.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python for automation development.

• Extensive knowledge of Selenium WebDriver.

• Solid grasp and application of test framework design patterns (POM, data-driven, keyword-driven).

• Experience with PyTest and/or unitTest.

• Demonstrated experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines).

• Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) for test and defect management.

• Familiarity with Xray for test case management and traceability.

• Proficiency in Git and best practices for version control.

• Practical experience in API testing (RESTful services).

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
