This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• We are seeking a QA Analyst to become a part of our Product & Engineering team.
• Your role will involve ensuring the quality and reliability of the Hivebrite platform through comprehensive manual testing, detailed documentation, and close collaboration with developers and product managers.
• You will take charge of quality within your squad's functional area, assist in test planning, facilitate bug resolution, and actively seek enhancements in our testing processes — including the use of AI tools.
• You will design and implement detailed manual test cases that encompass functional, usability, and edge-case scenarios for your squad's features.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that new changes do not disrupt existing functionalities.
• Contribute to test planning by establishing test objectives, scope, and strategy in partnership with developers and product managers.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify issues that scripted tests may overlook.
• Manage the complete bug lifecycle within your functional area — from identification and clear documentation in Jira, through triage, to tracking resolutions.
• Collaborate with developers on root cause analysis and ensure thorough validation of fixes.
• Plan and carry out QA activities within sprint timelines, assuring quality without becoming a hindrance.
• Maintain clear, well-organized test documentation in Qase — including test plans, cases, and execution reports.
• Utilize AI assistants and investigate quality metrics.
• 3–5 years of experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar position, preferably in a SaaS or web application context.
• Strong background in manual testing methodologies — including functional, regression, exploratory, and edge-case testing.
• Proficiency in test management tools (Qase or equivalent) and issue-tracking systems (Jira, including JQL and dashboard creation).
• Ability to document bugs clearly with reproduction steps, expected versus actual behavior, and supporting evidence (logs, screenshots).
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams — comfortable with sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with Confluence for test documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities — capable of identifying patterns in bugs, detecting coverage gaps, and prioritizing based on risk.
• Clear and assertive communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Nice-to-Have: Exposure to API testing with tools like Postman.
• Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright) — while you are not required to write automation, understanding it will aid collaboration with automation engineers.
• Experience with performance or accessibility testing.
• Interest in or experience with AI tools to enhance QA workflows (e.g., AI-assisted test case generation, bug analysis).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the role of QA gates in the delivery process.
• Experience in a community platform, marketplace, or multi-tenant SaaS product.
• Remote-friendly with a flexible policy.
• Between 1 and 12 weeks of Nomad per year.
• Approximately 2 weeks of RTT.
• Additional leave for family time (sick children, quality days, special situations).
• 2 months of paid leave for second caregivers.
• Moka Care mental health support (sessions, group workshops).
• 1 paid volunteer day.
• Your birthday off.
• Monthly team events and yearly department offsites.
• Paris headquarters with rooftop, pool, gym, and an international atmosphere.
• Engineering squads meet twice a month.
• Regular team gatherings and community events.
• Internal mobility, training, and tailored career support.
• Enhanced health coverage with Alan (vision, dental, alternative care).
• Swile: lunch vouchers plus CSE perks.
• Navigo 100% reimbursed (Paris).
• Latest Apple equipment plus €200 remote setup budget.
• Salary aligned with market standards.
