Python Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Actively utilize AI tools such as Claude Code, prompt engineering, and agentic coding to enhance development speed, create tests, optimize intricate challenges, and expedite delivery.

• Design and uphold the core data extraction and pipeline infrastructure that supports over 500 integrations.

• Take charge of the architecture and implementation of pipeline modernization projects.

• Enhance product performance and reliability at scale by identifying bottlenecks, managing resource limitations, and ensuring seamless data flow.

• Lead technical decision-making processes while upholding high standards of code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering, demonstrating ownership of production systems.

• Extensive proficiency in Python.

• Practical experience with contemporary AI tools such as Claude/Opus, Claude Code, prompt engineering, and agentic coding environments—not just familiarity but active application in shipping projects.

• Strong grasp of distributed systems, Kubernetes, and workflow orchestration.

• Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse) with the capability to optimize queries.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity with an ownership mindset—thrives in a dynamic startup environment.

• Willingness to work within the EST timezone.
