Public Relations Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Engage with journalists to secure media coverage in fashion, lifestyle, and business outlets.

• Master the essentials: crafting press releases, nurturing journalist relationships, brand storytelling, and maintaining content hygiene.

• Assist in managing our Brand Ambassador program through outreach, briefings, and relationship management.

• Foster partnerships with sports RX, community sports teams, NGOs, and cultural institutions to enhance SmartBuyGlasses' visibility beyond traditional advertising.

• Collaborate with influencers, designers, and cultural figures to support house-brand collections alongside the merchandising team.

• Expand our earned media presence across diverse platforms: top-tier publications, niche authority websites, and cultural outlets.

• Ensure our brand is heard across various channels: podcasts, Reddit, LinkedIn, newspapers, TV, and editorial features.

• Partner closely with our Social and Influencer lead to transform influencer reach into brand recognition.

• Manage the editorial calendar, including briefs, review processes, and efficient publishing timelines.

• Monitor media coverage and deliver clear, concise reports on performance metrics.

• Conduct structured experiments on formats and hooks, quickly discarding ineffective strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of direct experience in PR, Brand, or Partnerships with a consumer, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brand, demonstrating ownership of commercial results.

• Proven experience securing media placements in fashion, lifestyle, or business publications.

• Some background in collaborations, brand partnerships, or working with influencers and ambassadors.

• Strong commercial acumen — focus on branded demand and tangible outcomes rather than just impressions or EMV.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable collaborating with merchandising, influencer, creative, and SEO teams.

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach; organized and reliable, consistently meeting deadlines.

• High attention to detail coupled with a proactive mindset.
