This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Assess and analyze incoming defects reported by Quality Control testers to determine appropriate remediation actions during production.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Management team to provide daily updates on issues and keep the team informed about potential delays or obstacles.
• Review video and audio segments to identify possible edits in course content and communicate these findings to Course Developers.
• Evaluate animation inserts to ensure the content flows correctly where insertion is requested and liaise with asset capture to address any issues.
• Confirm defect resolutions to ensure they meet specified requirements.
• Assess and verify content changes in packages.
• Raise content issues to management as necessary when other SANS teams need to implement fixes.
• Work in collaboration with internal teams to provide insights on defects and opportunities for prevention in future projects.
• Support data collection efforts to enhance training and improve Quality Tester performance.
• Monitor and update daily production task dashboards.
• Act as a backup for the Quality Supervisor by coordinating and executing course release activities when necessary.
• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects at the same time.
• Capability to communicate clearly and precisely with remote team members.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Quality role or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Smartsheet.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
• Experience with issue management software is beneficial (such as JIRA, Redmine, etc.).
