This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Facilitation of focus groups and qualitative interviews.
• Management of stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
• Writing reports targeted at executive and regulatory audiences.
• Establishing trust and psychological safety during consultation processes.
• Handling sensitive discussions and emotional reactions effectively.
• Coordinating and managing projects across various locations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• Certification in psychosocial risk assessment (e.g., FlourishDx Academy, Bond University Psychosocial Risk Management).
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Australian WHS Act and the Managing Psychosocial Hazards Code of Practice.
• Registration as a psychologist (either general or endorsed in organizational psychology) is highly regarded for Australian Regulatory Compliance.
• Understanding of WHS Act and regulations applicable in the NSW and Victoria jurisdictions.
• Awareness of PCBU (Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking) obligations.
• Familiarity with consultation requirements as stipulated under the WHS legislation.
• Knowledge of the Australian Privacy Principles for the management of sensitive data.
• Insight into waste management operations and the associated hazards.
• Understanding of shift work, remote work, and physically demanding work settings.
• Recognition of industry-specific stressors including public stigma, exposure to hazardous materials, and geographic isolation.
• Familiarity with challenges faced by the regional and rural workforce.
