Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate patients through video consultations

• Conduct thorough virtual mental health assessments and gather patient medical information, including health history and findings from mental status examinations

• Oversee the management of psychotropic medications, assessing medical history, medication efficacy, adherence, and tolerability

• Create and implement treatment plans for behavioral health

• Analyze results from mental health assessments and manage medication

• Gather, document, and preserve sensitive patient data, examination results, medical history, and reports

• Perform monthly chart evaluations as part of the designated peer review quality assurance process

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of mental, emotional, and behavioral issues via video consultations

• Collaborate with primary care providers, psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals

• Operate under the supervision of a Medical Director

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active and unrestricted M.D. or D.O. medical license in the state of residence

• Must be a graduate of an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program

• Commitment to ongoing medical education

• Proficient in using videoconferencing platforms and open to learning new technologies, such as Athena

• Familiarity with technology and comprehension of digital tools and platforms
