Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual psychiatric assessments and evaluations to establish suitable medication management strategies for clients.

• Prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications, modifying dosages and treatment plans as needed.

• Work collaboratively with our licensed therapists and counselors to guarantee integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Offer education and support to clients and their families regarding medication adherence, possible side effects, and therapeutic interventions.

• Keep accurate and timely clinical documentation while following ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Exercise autonomy in clinical decisions: As a licensed and trained provider, your clinical judgement and expertise guide the most effective and clinically appropriate approaches for clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on psychiatric-mental health.

• Active state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and national certification.

• At least 2 years of post-certification clinical experience in psychiatric-mental health.

• Proficient with telehealth platforms and technology for virtual patient consultations.

• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
