Proposals and Adoptions Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and assess RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and state adoption documentation to identify requirements, including state standards and deadlines.

• In collaboration with the Proposals and Adoptions Manager and team members, craft clear and concise submissions for state adoption and RFP proposals.

• Work alongside colleagues in the Proposal Team to establish priorities for proposal responses and identify coverage needs.

• Complete content sections for state adoption bid materials and RFPs, typically found in electronic forms or online portals.

• Comprehend and convey state standards requirements to others within the Sales and content teams.

• Oversee the completion of all assigned RFPs and state adoption documents in line with strict deadlines.

• Develop outlines, create templates, proofread, prepare review drafts and final versions, schedule meetings, and monitor the progress of assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional writing capabilities with proven experience in proposal writing (writing sample required).

• 3-5 years of experience in a K-12 proposal writing position is strongly preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent skills in copy-editing.

• Proficient in setting priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated skills in managing multiple competing tasks and demands.

• Capacity to work positively and collaboratively with fellow team members.

• Professional, punctual, dependable, and eager to learn.

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software; Salesforce preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat or similar editing software.
