This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the planning, creation, graphics development, peer evaluations, and editing of proposal volumes and related materials, which include technical methodologies, management strategies, corporate experiences, staffing, vendor-generated Performance Work Statements, oral pitches, and technical challenges.
• Work in partnership with proposal, business development, capture, solution, and operations teams to eliminate obstacles and create compliant, engaging, and persuasive proposals.
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather technical insights and transform them into clear, compelling, and distinctive narratives and graphic designs.
• Manage relationships with peers, cross-functional teams, executives, and external partners to ensure cohesive input, alignment, and support throughout the proposal process.
• Utilize AI responsibly and ethically to enhance content quality while upholding independent judgment and verifying sources.
• Play a role in enhancing Oddball’s writing practices, proposal functions, and the overall Growth team.
• Demonstrated experience leading proposal volumes for U.S. federal government clients in multi-phase and quick-turn projects.
• Outstanding writing abilities with a knack for conveying complex technical ideas and value propositions to a variety of buyer personas and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of U.S. federal civilian and defense agencies; proposal-writing experience with VA, CMS, SEC, and DoW is preferred.
• Strong grasp of federal contracting, inclusive of FAR, contract vehicles, and the opportunity/business development lifecycle.
• Proficiency with government technology concepts such as agile methodologies, human-centered design, DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, and product management.
• Capability to thrive under deadline pressure and within collaborative cross-functional settings.
• Strong communication and persuasive skills for conducting SME interviews, providing peer feedback, and delivering leadership presentations.
• An intellectual curiosity regarding Oddball’s mission and growth aspirations.
• A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of the individuals served by the organization.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
• Some positions may necessitate U.S. citizenship and the ability to secure and maintain a federal background check and/or security clearance.
