Proposal Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and implementation of mission-driven, compliant, and impactful technical solutions across Defense and Federal programs.

• Convert intricate RFP requirements into successful architectures while enhancing Vivsoft’s reputation for innovation, secure engineering, and excellence in delivery.

• Spearhead solution development for mid to large-scale federal programs by assessing RFP requirements and crafting architectures that fulfill mission, technical, and compliance objectives.

• Utilize extensive experience in Defense and Federal systems, business operations, and integrations to identify customer pain points, anticipated outcomes, and solution value.

• Conceive innovative ideas across business operations, services, data, AI, cloud, and emerging technologies that set Vivsoft proposals apart.

• Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and partners to produce agile solution designs encompassing analysis, architecture, development, deployment, and operations.

• Own the technical solutions for proposals, RFIs, market surveys, and white papers, ensuring that narratives effectively communicate strategy, tradeoffs, business value, mission impact, and operational alignment.

• Create architectures that cover applications, APIs, data platforms, pipelines, AI/ML, cloud-native engineering, and integrated DevSecOps automation.

• Oversee the creation of technical sections such as CONOPs, BOEs, LOEs, data exchange patterns, integration models, and secure API designs.

• Act as a hands-on architect and primary subject matter expert for assigned domains, verifying feasibility, scalability, security, and alignment with customer environments.

• Collaborate with SMEs, the CTO, engineering leads, and partners to enhance solution designs and ensure they align with Vivsoft’s standards and customer objectives.

• Work together with capture, business development, pricing, and executive leadership to formulate successful strategies and proposal content.

• Engage with stakeholders and decision-makers to navigate IT governance, technical trade-offs, and solution development.

• Monitor emerging technologies and incorporate modernization opportunities into Vivsoft’s strategic framework.

• Participate in customer meetings to enhance mission understanding and cultivate trusted relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in architecting enterprise solutions across at least three of the following areas: large-scale cloud applications, data engineering, cloud engineering (AWS, Azure, or GCP), AI/ML, or DevSecOps.

• At least 5 years of experience delivering technical solutions for large-scale government cloud initiatives.

• Over 5 years dedicated to solution architecture and federal pursuits within Defense or civilian agencies.

• Proficiency in developing CONOPs, BOEs, and LOEs for proposals and program planning.

• Strong proponent of agile methodologies, human-centered design, and integrated DevSecOps automation.

• Experience in presenting solutions to stakeholders and facilitating their adoption.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated success in writing and developing federal proposals.
