This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee assigned proposal initiatives in the Renewables sector from initial intake to final submission.
• Strategize proposal plans, create timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, draft documents, assist with estimates, facilitate reviews, and manage the final production process.
• Analyze RFPs and client specifications to identify any missing information, compliance requirements, clarifications of scope, needs for subcontractors, and items for RFI.
• Conduct research, analyze, write, edit, and organize precise, compelling, and client-focused proposal content.
• Create proposal development strategies, manage assignments and communications, and structure proposal responses.
• Aid in estimate preparation by initiating drafts, determining inputs, aligning scope with assumptions, and tracking updates.
• Collaborate with teams from Sales, Technical Services, Field Services, Project Management, Legal, Safety, Quality, Procurement, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate proposal kickoff, as well as Pink/Green, Red, and Gold reviews.
• Establish and maintain Teams folders, group chats, Loop components, RFI logs, review trackers, and scheduling reminders.
• Oversee comments, revisions, approvals, signatures, and the final production of PDFs.
• Coordinate the packaging, electronic submission, and delivery of proposals.
• Assist in the closeout of proposals, identification of reusable content, content updates, and capturing lessons learned.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of proposal workflows, tools, templates, databases, libraries, and documentation.
• Manage or facilitate proposal elements from subcontractors when necessary.
• Lead internal meetings specific to opportunities.
• Engage in the creation of new processes, efficiency tools, and databases.
• No supervisory duties; perform additional related tasks as assigned.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, project management, engineering, technology, renewable energy, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–6 years of experience in proposal development, project coordination, project management, technical writing, estimating support, engineering support, or similar roles within Power, Renewables, infrastructure, or consulting settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, priorities, documents, and inputs from stakeholders.
• Proficient in working effectively across diverse teams and influencing without direct authority.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Willingness to adapt to advancing technology and AI tools.
• Must possess authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
• Preferred: experience in supporting proposals within renewable energy, power delivery, engineering consulting, utility, EPC, or infrastructure markets.
• Familiarity with Shipley color review processes or similar methodologies.
• Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Loop, Templafy, proposal databases, or related content management tools is valued.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and/or Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
• Experience in supporting scope and fee proposals, qualifications-based proposals, cost estimates, resumes, organizational charts, compliance matrices, or client-specific proposal packages.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
