This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide clarity on state statutes, administrative processes, and compliance obligations related to property tax protests.

• Offer guidance on local nuances, procedures, and regulations unique to New York City, Nassau County, and other significant jurisdictions.

• Instruct us on the timing and method for filing petitions (including TRIM notices, deadlines, and evidence requirements), encompassing both online and paper submissions.

• Share your expert knowledge on hearing protocols and best practices for the preparation and presentation of appeals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess direct experience in New York's property tax field—either through personal practice, as part of a firm, or within local government.

• Have in-depth familiarity with county-specific processes, deadlines, and regulations, particularly regarding New York's five largest counties.

• Demonstrate an innovative mindset while strictly adhering to all regulatory standards.

• Be available for on-demand, hourly consulting via phone or Zoom.
