This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Providing clarity on relevant Georgia laws, administrative procedures, and compliance requirements for property tax protests.
• Offering guidance on the specific nuances and requirements of key counties.
• Advising on the appropriate timing and methods for filing petitions (including TRIM notices, deadlines, and evidence requirements), while differentiating between online and paper submissions.
• Sharing insights into hearing procedures and best practices for preparing protests.
• Demonstrated experience within Georgia’s property tax landscape—whether through personal practice, an established firm, or a local government office.
• Extensive knowledge of county-specific processes, deadlines, and regulations, particularly in Georgia’s five largest counties.
• Ability to tackle challenges with innovative solutions while complying with local statutes and guidelines.
• Availability for consultation on an as-needed, hourly basis via phone or Zoom.
