
Project Intake – Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main liaison for all incoming project requests.
• Oversee and manage the project intake workflow from submission to approval or denial.
• Ensure that all submissions are accompanied by necessary documentation (business case, scope, risks, timeline, etc.).
• Conduct an initial assessment of requests (distinguishing between project and operational work).
• Collaborate with requestors and stakeholders to create essential project inputs, including (but not limited to): Business case and problem statement, ROI and financial impact details, risks, dependencies, and constraints, as well as implementation approach and scope.
• Coordinate intake review cycles, which include: Preparing for and facilitating meetings when necessary, tracking decisions and follow-ups, and ensuring adherence to governance standards and processes.
• Support the evaluation and prioritization of requests based on established criteria.
• Compile and present: Estimated timelines, resource requirements, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to refine project requests.
• Identify and suggest enhancements to the intake process.
• Monitor and report on: Intake volume, approval rates, and cycle times.
• 4–6+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles.
• Experience in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Capacity to gather and synthesize both business and technical information.
• Preferred experience with project intake, governance, or PMO processes.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
