Project Finance Systems Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee FreshWorks support tickets submitted by employees and ensure resolution within the 48-hour SLA.

• Handle user support requests while offering training and guidance on finance system procedures, reports, and functionalities.

• Assist with the administration, configuration, and business process enhancements of Workday and OneStream.

• Analyze, document, and uphold end-to-end data flows among Finance, HR, Operations, and IT systems.

• Conduct data mapping and integration validation for system enhancements, process improvements, and reporting needs.

• Aid in system testing, user acceptance testing, and application upgrades.

• Develop report specifications by identifying data relationships, source systems, and reporting requirements within Workday and OneStream.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to data flow, integration, and reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.

• Partner with Finance Functional Leads and IT teams to drive automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement.

• Support month-end closing activities by troubleshooting system-related issues and validating financial data.

• Ensure data quality through reconciliation, validation, and monitoring of system interfaces and integrations.

• Contribute to governance, documentation, and process standardization across finance systems and reporting environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in accounting, finance, or Information Technology.

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a service organization.

• Preferably have direct experience in the Clinical Research industry.

• Experience in Workday Financials administration and configuration.

• Proficient in creating and analyzing reports in Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with integrated program management systems.

• Practical experience working with Workday.

• Highly detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
