This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Design, develop, and sustain the reporting infrastructure utilized for managing utility energy efficiency programs.
• Generate regular dashboards, scorecards, KPI reports, and executive summaries that enhance visibility into program performance.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that facilitate operational and strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting automation, efficiency, and user experience.
• Document reporting methodologies, calculations, and data sources to guarantee long-term sustainability.
• Consolidate and reconcile data from various sources, including program tracking systems, Excel databases, SharePoint, Power BI, and operational platforms.
• Analyze program performance data to pinpoint trends, risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Proactively communicate insights and recommendations to program leadership.
• Support forecasting, planning, and performance monitoring activities.
• Convert complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Operations Managers, and Engagement Managers to establish reporting requirements and performance visibility needs.
• Assist in quality assurance and data validation efforts to maintain reporting accuracy.
• Aid in client reporting, regulatory reporting, and internal performance reviews.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives through operational analysis and data-driven suggestions.
• Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may also be considered.
• Must currently reside in New Jersey.
• 2–5 years of experience in reporting, analytics, business operations, program support, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
• Proven experience in creating dashboards, reports, scorecards, or performance-tracking tools utilized by business or operations teams.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data validation, reconciliation, and reporting automation.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy and integrity.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 10%.
