Program & Mobilization Assistant – Generation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Conduct follow-up calls with applicants to monitor their progress in the application process and address any inquiries they may have.

• Handle both personal and Generation Colombia email communications, resolving questions directly or escalating them as necessary to ensure prompt solutions.

• Assist in the selection process of participants, which includes reviewing profiles, coordinating efforts, and conducting interviews based on predefined criteria.

• Maintain organized and accurate documentation of each applicant’s status and progress utilizing designated platforms and tools.

• Aid in logistical operations, such as distributing computers and other resources to the chosen participants.

• Provide assistance in organizing and executing events or informational sessions for potential program participants.

• Facilitate the execution of events and information sessions by performing logistical tasks and providing on-site or virtual support for prospective participants.

• Collaborate with instructors and Generation teams to enhance learner success and program delivery through support of technical and employability training initiatives for Generation Colombia programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in program support, ideally within a nonprofit, startup, or social enterprise context.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proven fluency in Spanish; proficiency in English is an advantage.

• Experience in developing program procedures and resources, with a strong focus on detail.

• An entrepreneurial and proactive attitude to meet objectives and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

• Results-oriented with the ability to measure success through metrics and analytics.

• Capacity to work independently while also being an effective team member.

• Commitment to Generation’s mission, preferably with experience serving disadvantaged communities.
