Program Inspector – Investigation Oversight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the receipt, tracking, and management of federal client contract inspections.

• Perform internal evaluations on contract program criteria to identify risks, liabilities, enhancements, and compliance.

• Aid in both scheduled and unscheduled inspections.

• Collect data, draft inspection reports, and offer recommendations or solutions to mitigate risks and prevent potential failures.

• Execute research and inspections utilizing investigative and contract expertise.

• Handle the receipt, tracking, and delivery of client inspections.

• Strategize and research contract requirements to develop effective inspection methods.

• Organize and manage data, compile written reports, and distribute inspection outcomes.

• Evaluate performance in relation to contract stipulations, plans, updates, addendums, and modifications.

• Relay inspection results and findings to project and program managers, department heads, subject matter experts, contracting officers, federal client personnel, staff members, and field investigative staff.

• Establish and uphold standards for fulfilling inspection criteria.

• Address policy breaches and inspection shortcomings while striving to enhance quality and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

• Current Top-Secret Clearance based on a T5 investigation.

• If not currently possessing the clearance, it must be acquired prior to commencement.

• Capability to work on a computer for extended durations.

• Proficient in communication via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

• Experience with office software and communication systems, including email and federal client computer systems.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Previous experience as a Background Investigator, Case Reviewer, or within an Oversight Investigations team is preferred.
