Professional Services Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Gather project requirements from clients through virtual interviews.

• Execute tailored solutions and services in accordance with the SOW, utilizing 8x8 products, APIs, and necessary third-party software development tools.

• Design and prototype software development projects as needed, ensuring the quality of the output.

• Oversee the deployment of 8x8 services and solutions for customers as outlined in the SOW.

• Showcase 8x8 services and customized solutions to clients, including both executives and end-users.

• Achieve or surpass P&L objectives for professional services.

• Configure systems within 8x8, integrating with scripting in PHP and Python.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field.

• Strong command of scripting languages such as Python, PHP, and JavaScript.

• Solid background in APIs, including knowledge of Rest APIs and integration with third-party systems.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Knowledge of web application architecture.

• Experience with conversational AI/ML technologies and natural language processing.

• Strong professional communication skills, as interaction with customers is essential.

• Java experience is advantageous.

• Previous experience in Contact Center, VoIP, and video conferencing applications is a plus.
