Production Technology – Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver real-time operational assistance for live/on-air programming across NBCU brands and shows.

• Take charge of incident response during your shift.

• Provide hands-on L1–L3 support.

• Ensure the maintenance and validation of core newsroom and control-room workflows.

• React promptly to monitoring alerts and user-reported issues.

• Communicate clearly and effectively.

• Document incidents and operational insights through knowledge articles, runbooks, and post-incident notes.

• Engage in operational testing and release validation alongside development teams.

• Be part of a rotating on-call schedule to support on-air broadcast hotlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of hands-on technical support experience in a production, broadcast, media, or other mission-critical environment.

• Proficient in troubleshooting a wide range of applications.

• Excellent communication abilities and operational discipline.

• Experience collaborating directly with software development teams in a Continuous Delivery and SDLC environment.

• Fundamental knowledge of AWS services (IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Engineering, or equivalent years of experience.
