This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate closely with the Payments Senior Product Manager to develop, challenge, and execute a strategic product roadmap that aligns with the company's objectives.
• Identify problems and formulate hypotheses based on customer needs and feedback, ensuring consistency with the product strategy.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Design teams to identify assumptions, assess risks, and validate the feasibility of potential solutions.
• Assist the Payments Senior Product Manager in planning and coordinating product development delivery through iterative sprint cycles and regular team ceremonies.
• Break down high-level product initiatives into comprehensive user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Establish precise business rules, data validations, and error-handling scenarios to guarantee robust technical solutions.
• Create documentation for current and future-state workflows using data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and system schemas to guide the engineering team.
• Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure that product requirements adhere to data protection regulations and payment security frameworks (e.g., PCI compliance).
• Proactively identify, monitor, and manage technical cross-team dependencies that may influence the product roadmap.
• Utilize data-driven iteration and testing to assess impact and inform necessary adjustments.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the 2nd Line Support team, reviewing and triaging escalated bugs, system behavior inquiries, and high-priority customer issues.
• Work alongside the Payments Senior Product Manager to prioritize support tasks, ensuring the resolution of bugs, maintenance, and technical debt is balanced with strategic roadmap delivery.
• Advocate for a user-centric approach by using feedback, metrics, and research to guide product decisions.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders regarding milestones, progress, and any modifications to plans.
• Promote collaboration, communication, and a culture of shared learning within the team and across departments.
• Demonstrated experience in a technical business analysis role, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and customer success.
• Experience handling complex technical requirements across various domains.
• Comfortable working with remote teams.
• Passionate about developing user-centric products that create a meaningful impact.
• Ability to effectively utilize data and metrics to make informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills; capable of persuading others and providing compelling justifications for decisions.
• Proven background in working with payments products.
• Experience in the Payments, Finance, or EdTech sector is preferred.
