This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conducting inspections on construction and industrial equipment and machinery intended for online sales and remarketing.
• Overseeing the entire online inspection and production workflow, which includes heavy equipment and truck inspections, research, photography/video, descriptions, and logistics.
• Collaborating with customers on tasks such as loading and unloading, providing assistance, and troubleshooting issues.
• Coordinating and scheduling heavy equipment inspections with our partners and clients.
• Upholding top-tier customer service standards for both sellers and buyers, which includes managing inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring positive outcomes.
• Possessing a solid understanding of online sales, merchandising, auctions, and platforms like eBay.
• Conducting research on a diverse array of assets using the internet and various other sources.
• Creating, maintaining, implementing, and adhering to policies and procedures that ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Composing professional asset descriptions that are informative, detailed, accurate, and tailored for a global audience.
• Collaborating across all business segments to guarantee exceptional satisfaction for all customers, including both buyers and sellers.
• Gaining knowledge of all business areas and fostering positive changes in our processes and capabilities.
• Proven experience with heavy equipment and machinery, including construction, agricultural, trucks, or industrial equipment.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical, fleet, rental, service, or related fields.
• Significant background in customer engagement, service, and support.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills related to equipment.
• Competent computer skills, familiarity with applications, and internet usage.
• Basic experience in photography and/or videography is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, partner, and team management skills.
• Familiarity with various internet technologies, including eBay, is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Capability to manage projects involving multiple tasks, resources, and customer interactions.
• Keen attention to detail and a mechanical inclination.
• Willingness to climb on and inspect large construction equipment regularly.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including travel to customer sites.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Vertical expertise – relevant background includes heavy equipment & machinery, construction equipment rental, service and sales/marketing, auction sales, and remarketing.
• Self-driven with the skills and mindset necessary to thrive in a start-up, entrepreneurial, or team-focused environment.
