This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Prepare production-ready artwork: Finalize files for print and packaging with meticulous attention to layout, color precision, typography management, and correct mechanical configurations.
• Conduct pre-flight assessments: Confirm color separations, bleeds, crop marks, die lines, resolution, and other technical specifications prior to release.
• Ensure compliance with printer and vendor standards: Verify that all files adhere to printer requirements and address any pre-press or mechanical issues as necessary.
• Adapt designs for various formats: Revise and expand existing creative across packaging structures, print formats, and digital variations while upholding brand integrity.
• Review and proof assets: Evaluate all files for accuracy, consistency, and error-free execution before distribution to internal contributors or external vendors.
• Collaborate with creative partners: Work closely with designers and creative leads to ensure production accuracy while maintaining the original design intent.
• Manage version control: Organize, label, and archive production files for efficient retrieval, tracking, and long-term asset management.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers: Engage with print vendors, packaging suppliers, and contract personnel to confirm specifications, resolve technical issues, and ensure seamless production workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in a production or design role within an agency or in-house creative team, with substantial expertise in print and packaging production
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of pre-press procedures, color management, and print production standards
• Familiarity with packaging design requirements, die lines, and material specifications
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Capacity to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently
