Product Owner – Tax Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete product roadmap for Deblock's Tax Product, covering aspects from transaction categorization and capital gains calculations to the creation of tax-ready reports.

• Keep abreast of French and EU tax developments and convert them into precise product requirements and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.

• Collaborate daily with Engineering, Design, Legal, and Compliance teams to prioritize, specify, and deliver features punctually.

• Engage with users, conduct beta tests, and refine the product. Ensure that the tax experience is not only compliant but also genuinely user-friendly.

• Identify and assess partnerships with tax-filing platforms, accounting software providers, or institutional tax advisors to enhance the product's reach and credibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are a qualified French corporate or tax lawyer (Master 2 / CAPA or equivalent) with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience.

• You possess hands-on experience in contributing to or leading a product, including writing specifications, prioritizing backlogs, managing sprints, or delivering features.

• You have extensive knowledge of French tax obligations pertaining to digital assets (flat tax, IFI, plus-values, déclarations fiscales) and a strong understanding of the evolving EU regulatory framework (DAC8, MiCA implications).

• You are adept at building decision trees, composing clear PRDs, and substantiating your recommendations with data and legal reasoning.

• You are fluent in French (native proficiency) and have professional proficiency in English.
