Product Manager – Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Establish the vision and roadmap for Nebius’ security offerings.

• Oversee the ideation, postmortem analysis, prioritization, backlog management, and customer feedback initiatives.

• Direct the development of new features, systems, and services from conception to launch, ensuring a customer-centric approach.

• Lead external communications regarding security updates or changes in compliance status.

• In the event of a security incident, manage user communications (email alerts, press releases, FAQs) with assistance from the Head of Security Products and CISO.

• Collect user feedback on experience and security to inform ongoing enhancements.

• Conduct continuous research on industry benchmarks, emerging security standards, technologies, and competitor certifications.

• Identify gaps and opportunities within the organization’s product security framework; propose strategic initiatives that enhance the company's security narrative in the marketplace.

• Keep abreast of new regulations or frameworks that could affect future product certifications or transparency requirements (e.g., privacy laws, data sovereignty standards).

• Collaborate with the CISO office to collect technical evidence or implement necessary product improvements to meet certification standards.

• Assume responsibility for certain security-related services on the Cloud platform.

• Maintain a certification roadmap (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.), collaborating closely with the CISO, GRC & Compliance, and Corporate Security departments. Provide timelines, goals, and status updates to leadership and sales teams.

• Coordinate with multiple Product Managers to ensure alignment of security objectives with other product roadmaps, maintaining a coherent narrative between product security and external communications.

• Collaborate with Platform Security, GRC & Corporate Security, and legal teams to gather vital information for enhancing security products (e.g., penetration test summaries, compliance reports).

• Partner with customer-facing teams to respond to client inquiries about security posture and advise them on optimal use of security features.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Product Management or Program Management with a concentration on security initiatives.

• Fundamental understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) and their business implications.

• Demonstrated ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear, customer-friendly manner (e.g., producing content, presenting at webinars or conferences).

• Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with other Product Managers, CISO personnel, engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams.

• Analytical mindset: comfortable defining success metrics (e.g., security feature adoption, NPS related to trust, certification progress) and making data-driven choices.

• Project management abilities: proven track record of managing cross-team collaboration in company-wide projects, ensuring timely completion of cross-functional tasks and alignment with compliance objectives.
