This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, mentor, and lead a team of Process Writers responsible for creating and maintaining SOPs, DLPs, process maps, support documents, and other related process documentation.
• Allocate, prioritize, and supervise documentation tasks based on business requirements, risks, deadlines, available resources, and project obligations.
• Assess documentation for thoroughness, precision, clarity, consistency, usability, alignment with operations, and adherence to governance standards.
• Perform quality audits, conduct spot checks, and monitor review cycles.
• Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, obstacles, dependencies, and resource limitations.
• Ensure Process Writers arrange, lead, document, and follow up on sessions with subject matter experts.
• Guarantee that review cycles are completed punctually and that feedback is addressed thoroughly and accurately.
• Assist in current-state and future-state process mapping, identifying gaps, capturing pain points, and documenting operational issues.
• Emphasize team performance expectations regarding quality, timeliness, communication, responsiveness, professionalism, facilitation, collaboration, time management, coverage, and accountability.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level updates on documentation progress, achievements, risks, issues, priorities, and resource requirements.
• Engage in interview preparation, candidate assessment, onboarding support, training, documentation standards, tool utilization, and team enhancement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Business, Communication, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in technical/process writing, SOP/DLP development, or operational documentation.
• A minimum of five years of experience in process documentation, technical writing, operations, quality, training, project coordination, or a related business area.
• At least one year of experience in leading, mentoring, coordinating, or managing individuals or project-based tasks.
• Experience in developing, reviewing, or maintaining SOPs, DLPs, work instructions, process maps, job aids, or other operational documentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly summarize complex information for both operational and leadership audiences.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and deliverables effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, operations teams, quality resources, project leaders, and leadership stakeholders.
• Experience in leading documentation, process improvement, operations, quality, training, or project-oriented teams.
• Solid understanding of SOPs, DLPs, process documentation, process mapping, and documentation governance.
• Ability to evaluate complex documentation for clarity, completeness, usability, standardization, and operational accuracy.
• Strong project management, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, coaching, and leadership communication skills.
• A mindset geared towards process improvement, with the ability to identify gaps, bottlenecks, rework, missing handoffs, and opportunities for documentation enhancement.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Visio, Snagit, UI Path Task Capture, or similar tools.
• Ability to balance quality, timeliness, stakeholder requirements, and team capacity in a dynamic operational environment.
