Private School Admissions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• You will gain expertise in private school admissions through comprehensive training provided by the Company.

• The training program will be tailored to help you develop into a well-rounded and insightful consultant, including opportunities for shadowing consultations, training sessions with current admissions consultants, and regular meetings with the CEO.

• You will acquire knowledge about the admissions processes for both national and international private schools, familiarize yourself with the background of each institution, and learn how to effectively communicate with families to enhance their chances of admission.

• Guided by the CEO and the Team, you will collaborate with families to craft personal narratives that are both introspective and engaging.

• Your responsibilities will include assisting in brainstorming, outlining, condensing, and proofreading student essays.

• Additionally, you will support students in interview preparation and consult with families as necessary regarding other aspects of the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with a commitment to the role for a minimum of one full year.

• At least 3 years of experience in private school admissions consulting or college admissions consulting, or a minimum of 2 years of experience working within a private school’s admissions team.

• Demonstrated success in managing, developing, and/or completing complex projects collaboratively in a team environment.

• A Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited university.

• A high level of energy and sociability.

• Native or advanced proficiency in the English language.

• Outstanding writing and editing skills.

• Capable of effective communication with a diverse range of individuals, including executives, students, parents, and fellow admissions consultants.

• Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently in a dynamic environment with multiple deadlines.

• Proficient in the Google Suite.

• Experience with Monday.com, Vonage, client-facing sales, and/or marketing strategies is a plus.
