Privacy Compliance Consultant – Children’s Data Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Carry out independent privacy evaluations of digital platforms (web/mobile)

• Assess the methods of user data collection, utilization, storage, and sharing

• Execute privacy assessments (PIA/DPIA) and document the results

• Examine data flows and practices related to data handling

• Review consent mechanisms, age verification processes, and data minimization strategies

• Detect privacy risks and areas of non-compliance

• Deliver comprehensive audit-style reports with actionable recommendations

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with privacy regulations, particularly COPPA and U.S. State(s) privacy laws

• Practical experience in performing privacy assessments/audits

• In-depth knowledge of data flows and the data lifecycle

• Experience evaluating consumer-facing systems (applications, websites)

• Capability to convert regulations into practical insights and recommendations

• Nice to Have: Experience with Age-Appropriate Design Code; Background in GRC, cybersecurity, or product compliance; Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CISM, or similar
