This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Spearhead the establishment and dissemination of a distinct UX vision along with a multi-release experience roadmap for vital components of the Seeq product, ensuring teams are aligned around north-star experiences that streamline complex analytics and AI.

• Implement a user-centered strategy for product decisions by collaborating with product managers, engineers, and analytics stakeholders to strategize and execute research, synthesize insights, and establish experience success metrics.

• Take ownership of end-to-end experiences that convert our comprehensive calculation engine—capable of handling intricate math and machine learning algorithms on streaming time series data—into seamless, reliable workflows for users.

• Guarantee that customers perceive Seeq as a cohesive product rather than a disjointed collection of features by advocating for consistent interaction patterns, information architecture, and visual systems across product areas.

• Advance the UX practice by exemplifying best-in-class standards in research, interaction, and visual design; leading critiques and design reviews; mentoring designers; and guiding the team from reactive ā€œjust-in-timeā€ work to proactive, strategic problem framing.

• Direct the design of workflows powered by AI and GenAI, determining how AI is presented, explained, and trusted within the product, while ensuring that human-in-the-loop interactions are intuitive and insight-driven.

• Collaborate with Product leadership to create compelling narratives and artifacts (e.g., ā€œart of the possibleā€ experiences, executive-ready flows and demos) that influence roadmaps, facilitate top-down selling, and assist customers in understanding what Seeq can achieve.

• From ideation through multiple releases, be responsible for delivering high-quality UX outcomes—ensuring design intent is maintained through implementation, utilizing data and feedback for iteration, and consistently raising the standard for experience quality.

ā›³ļø Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in user experience/user interface design (UX/UI), including leading responsibilities for intricate B2B or SaaS products.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or completion of a certificate program in user experience design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong, demonstrable experience in conducting design work within a SaaS or similarly complex, data- or workflow-heavy product environment.

• Established record of owning end-to-end experiences for mission-critical product areas—from discovery through multiple releases—with measurable impacts on business and customer outcomes.

• Proven ability to elevate and mentor UX teams, setting standards for craftsmanship, leading critiques, and coaching designers to achieve greater impact and autonomy.

• Strong opinions about, and experience in, UX craftsmanship in the GenAI era—both utilizing AI in design workflows and designing AI as a core element of the product experience.

• Experience in defining and refining an experience vision that aligns with company growth areas and product strategy while driving consensus across Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams.

• Dedicated to ensuring experience coherence across product areas, making sure customers see a unified product instead of a disjointed array of features.

• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate with Product leadership on shared artifacts that depict our vision for customers and prospects (e.g., ā€œart of the possibleā€ scenarios, executive-ready journeys).

• Strong advocate for UX best practices with the capacity to contribute at any phase of the design process, generating high-quality UX artifacts and guiding teams toward optimal approaches.

• Capable of effective collaboration in cross-functional environments while also functioning with significant autonomy and self-direction on complex, ambiguous challenges.

• A portfolio that showcases comprehensive design processes, including discovery/research, problem framing, ideation, prototyping, and final deliverables for complex products.

• Demonstrated empathy for end-users, evidenced by involvement in user research and implementations grounded in usability and behavioral insights.

• Proficient in creating user flows, wireframes, storyboards, mockups, and interactive prototypes to convey design concepts to teams and stakeholders at various fidelity levels.

• Expert in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, with a readiness to learn and utilize advanced prototyping tools (e.g., Axure, Justinmind) as needed.

• Experience employing AI tools (Figma Make, v0, Lovable, etc.) to enhance UX design workflows and outcomes.

• Strong grasp of design principles including grids, typography, color theory, hierarchy, layout, iconography, imagery, patterns, and systems.

• Experience in establishing or evolving design systems and pattern libraries that scale across multiple product areas.

• Comfort with mathematical concepts, data visualization (e.g., bar charts, graphs), and comprehension of engineering language, particularly in technical and data-driven contexts.

• Lead and actively shape team activities, including standup meetings, design critiques, workshops, and other rituals—fostering a culture of constructive feedback and shared standards.

• Proactively seek and integrate feedback from colleagues, stakeholders, and customers, demonstrating a growth mindset and data-informed decision-making.

• Proven ability to rapidly master and design for intricate, technical systems, especially in industrial, analytics, or other highly data-driven domains.
