This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Demonstrated experience in Mechanical Design within the Aerospace sector.
• Proficient in CAD software (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO), PLM systems (Teamcenter, Enovia, Windchill, 3DExperience), and analysis tools (Ansys).
• Proven history of working on cutting-edge Digital Engineering and Manufacturing Integration to facilitate a comprehensive digital thread.
• Experienced in spearheading process and tool enhancement initiatives to advance model-based definition roadmap maturity.
• Skilled in implementing Standard Work procedures to guarantee consistent outcomes throughout the organization.
• Expertise in translating customer specifications and mechanical requirements into optimized designs.
• Capable of leading collaborative efforts among Engineering and Manufacturing disciplines.
• Manage MCAD data management environments effectively in an administrative capacity.
• Analyze and debug server logs.
• Provide support for the configuration, customization, and upgrades of mechanical hardware.
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure that scripts and code satisfy user requirements (enhancements/updates, etc.).
• Create and update system test cases; perform unit and integration testing to confirm that defined functionality aligns with requirements.
• Generally requires a University Degree along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related area with at least 3 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.
• Strong work ethic and diligence.
• Experience with mechanical and engineering design methodologies.
• Preferred: Familiarity with work management in an Agile framework.
• Must be willing and able to travel (domestic and international), with a minimum of 10% travel required domestically.
• Must possess, or be capable of obtaining, a security clearance.
