This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver advanced technical expertise to establish process methodologies that address the needs of both internal and external clients across intricate projects and studies.
• Organize and oversee the creation of integrated programming solutions that cater to a comprehensive range of statistical programming requirements.
• Offer internal consulting services, which include the analysis of specifications and user needs for complex project or client demands.
• Execute programming, testing, and documentation of statistical programs intended for the generation of statistical tables, figures, and listings.
• Develop analysis datasets (derived datasets) and transfer files for both internal and external clients.
• Implement quality control checks for source data and periodically report any data issues.
• Interpret requirements at the project level and create programming specifications for complex studies.
• Provide advanced technical expertise while collaborating with both internal and external clients, designing independent project solutions.
• Assume project responsibilities as a technical team lead for individual complex studies or a group of studies.
• Engage directly with internal and client statisticians and clinical team members to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and project timelines.
• Assess programming scope of work, manage resource allocations, communicate project statuses, and negotiate timelines for deliverables.
• Utilize and advocate for established standards, SOPs, and best practices.
• Offer training and mentorship to members of the SP team.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in Statistical Programming within the Life Science Industry.
• Strong experience in Efficacy.
• Advanced understanding of statistics, programming, and/or the clinical drug development process.
• Proficient in computing applications such as Base SAS, SAS Graph, and SAS Macro.
• Advanced knowledge of relevant Data Standards (such as CDISC/ADaM/SDTM).
