This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide, mentor, and inspire engineers to meet personal and team objectives while cultivating a collaborative and accountable environment.
• Take charge of the technical direction and daily engineering operations for the GovIntel and GovChannel workstreams.
• Design, develop, and manage impactful features across various modules, including opportunity ingestion, teaming, FPDS/award search, sourcing, quoting, fulfillment, maintenance/support, and reporting/analytics.
• Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders to convert customer and market demands into precise technical designs, delivery schedules, and backlog priorities.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure the platform facilitates the workflows of business development, sales, sales management, fulfillment, procurement, finance, and executive users.
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices in areas such as code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Drive decisions regarding architecture and implementation for APIs, integrations, and services that link product capabilities with surrounding systems.
• Oversee code reviews, design evaluations, incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives for the team’s services and workflows.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools judiciously to expedite development, documentation, refactoring, and testing while ensuring robust human oversight and engineering judgment.
• Mentor engineers in their technical development, ownership, and execution discipline, while promoting strong engineering practices throughout the organization.
• Over 7 years of software engineering experience, with a robust full-stack background in .NET, Entity Framework, and Angular.
• Significant experience in leading technical delivery and mentoring fellow engineers.
• Strong expertise in data modeling and database design, complemented by proficient SQL skills.
• Extensive experience in building modern SaaS applications, services, or APIs in live production settings.
• Solid foundation in software design, distributed systems, reliability, performance, and scalable architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments, containers, Kubernetes, AWS, and contemporary CI/CD practices.
• Capability to transform product requirements and user stories into clear technical tasks, designs, and execution plans.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders.
• High sense of ownership and sound technical judgment, with a proven track record of driving initiatives from design through to production.
• Keen interest in customer workflows and domain challenges in GovCon, particularly in opportunity management, teaming, quoting, procurement, fulfillment, and financial visibility.
